Ben Marshall, South Australian Premier, has announced he isn't interested in Adelaide hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games. But, Ben Houston, President of Commonwealth Games Australia, still hopes to find another town/city to bid for it. Because they were the only bidder ? If that is the reason, why were they the only city willing to risk getting it. Presumably they have to make a financial 'commitment' to the IOC at this stage, which wouldn't please me if I lived there.
