Well that was nerve-wracking. I watched most of it from behind the sofa.

A superb display from Andy to battle back and win this match. Maybe Tipsy gave a bit away in the 2nd but he came on strong again and Andy had to produce a high level in the end. Just hope Andy is feeling fine for the semi. Great win in the circumstances!:cheer::cheer::cheer:

Wow, that was stressful to watch! Andy is such a fighter, so pleased he came through. Credit to Tipsy though, he played a great match and could have won in straight sets.
Really glad Andy's in the semis again - hope he feels better for that match.

Great to see Andy knuckle down and get the W in spite of feeling less than 100%. Hope they get the hydration balance right for the match against Rafa, if that's what the problem was.

Andy's had a few matches where he was feeling billous and thought it may be down to fluids. He hardly took any liquid in during the second set. There must be a problem somewhere which he needs to sort out.
However, he rallied, steadied himself, changed his game a little and he's through. Great Stuff. He said in his interview that he wasn't adapting his game enough to compensate for the wind and once he did....well, more of the real Andy.
So now for Rafa.........definitely a bit of a sofa night :sofa:
Rafa was complaining on tendonitus when he played Jo-Wilf so...who knows

I'm sure I remember him having this over-hydration problem before. Would that be Jez GReen's area of responsibility? I suppose it's difficult when conditions are constantly changing but I really hope they get it sorted out for the rest of the season.

I seem to remember him having the opposite problem a couple of years back - maybe they've overcompensated in the other direction now!
