I've found the livescore on Bet 365 for Dom and Colin which is in progress.
I have been looking for livescores and found some here too. http://www.scoreboard.com/uk/tennis/

So disappointing as Colin/Dom bagelled in the 2nd by Gonzalesz/Reyes-Varela,wonder just what went wrong here.
Not surprising they lost given this is the first time Dom & Colin have played together and whilst the Mexicans aren't a regular pair they do play together in the Davis Cup. The score however is very disappointing. Their Olympics over in 51 minutes, at least they have the opening ceremony memories.
Pity about Inglot having to be paired up with Fleming. Inglot is much better than what happened.
Pity about Inglot having to be paired up with Fleming. Inglot is much better than what happened.
Just have to differ with you slightly there Stell, I think Colin is a much better dubs player than Dom, as no disrespect to Dom I think Jamie carried him a bit in the Davis Cup but hey its just a difference of opinion

Just maybe they partied too hard at the opening ceremony There was a video taken by Dom on Twitter which was posted very late last night.

Come on Delpo!!!!!
Just found out Red Button 1, on my Freeview TV, will be showing the tennis from 9pm (21.00pm) this evening. Hoping it'll be the Murray brothers.
Yeah I can find tennis coverage for later on but not for the earlier matches
Seems his doubles has improved

Seems his doubles has improved
Pity his fakery hasnt
andy has just beaten Tricky, and the dubs is at 11.15, how would andy fill in the time?
Djokovic's doubles match yesterday was last on court 1 but streaming stopped after the match before. Maybe it was the BBC's decision as I'm sure it must have been available elsewhere. 5 courts are supposedly televised but I'm yet to find all 5 streams.

warm down, physio, rest, food, warm up?
Red Button 1, on my TV, is showing the tennis from 9pm (21.00pm) until 11pm (23.00pm). The Murray brothers have still got two matches, after Nadal finishes his, before they come on.
So is it likely that the Murray doubles will not be televised??
It is showing on the streams for 12.30am (4.30pm for me) so I'm hoping it will be shown somewhere. I will probably have to watch the stream but hopefully it will be on TV in UK.
I imagine it will be ok one of the red button channels
BBC4 is showing tennis and beach volleyball from 11.30 pm according to the Radio Times.
It was listed as tennis earlier and when I put it on it went was volleyball. I guess they will be switching back and forth.
They tend to interupt things when a brit is doing well somewhere else.
Wishing Jamie and Andy all the very best of luck :thumbup::thumbup:

One half of the partnership through, Bruno has just won, Jamie to follow soon hopefully
The Williams sisters have lost the first set, and hopefully the next, so that Jamie and Andy can get on the court before midnight
I have to agree would like to get to bed in the next 3 hours as I'm up at 5.30!
Break against the Williams!
If Andy and Jamie's match is half as exciting as this ladies one we're in for a treat. Venus is definitely showing her age despite her recent good singles results.

Well done ladies, a big win, venus out of both in first round, amazing, weightlifting anyone?
Right bring on the Muzzah bros so I can be sure of the channel, set it to record and get to bed. Great ladies match though. Right 472 is now weightlifting and Muguruza has finished her match which was on 477 and tennis is scheduled there till 3am. So hopefully our boys will be out soon.
Hoping its 477 going to watch a bit to make sure before bed. Go on guys :)

Certainly big upset and well done to the czechs, though strictly speaking only supposed to be Men's and Mixed discussion here ;) Come on Andy and Jamie, let's go!

Yes, in spite of the Williams sisters never being my favourite duo, that was a very exciting ladies doubles match. Venus is certainly showing her age now, as is Federer on occasions. Which channel is Andy and Jamie on?? I've now got Nole and Del Potro!! All this channel swopping is ridiculous especially at this time of the night (well morning). I am beginning to suspect I'm not going to get to see Andy and Jamie after all!!
In hopes he is improving (speaking for myself) and missing him on tour. Anyway if anyone is watching online is the Jamie/Andy match on there?
Was about to ask same re Jamie/Andy

Called a massive shock but in reality Andy & Jamie were only second seeds based on Andy's ranking. I hope this doesn't impact on Andy's singles performance.
Should go to bed, but back watching Juan, need to calm down before I could sleep.
What a wonderful match. So proud of how our boys fought. So sorry for them too. But Sa/Belucci were too good. Can't take that away from them.

My only consolation is that I read (and posted) an article recently, suggesting that Andy is planning to play with Jamie a lot as, and after, he winds down his singles career. They could really challenge in Tokyo 2020 and it remains a special goal for their later careers.

Soooooooooooooo disappointed! And I had to watch on a crappy livestream that stopped more than it played. Sigh. Poor Team Murray. :crying: :crying: :crying:
My only consolation is that I read (and posted) an article recently, suggesting that Andy is planning to play with Jamie a lot as, and after, he winds down his singles career. They could really challenge in Tokyo 2020 and it remains a special goal for their later careers.
I've always harboured the hope that Andy would play doubles with Jamie when he retires from the singles. I'm sure they would make a formidable pair if they were playing together all the time and, yes, the doubles gold in Tokyo would definitely be a possibility. I hope that Andy concentrates on the singles here now and leaves the mixed to Jamie - he's got a lot of tennis ahead of him in the next few weeks.
I agree Alis. I think he will leave the mixed to Jamie, at least I hope so. Can they both play mixed or are we only allowed one couple?
If TeamGB's instructions are to field the best possible team to win a medal then it should be Andy who plays in the mixed plus I think he's a more positive force when it comes to doubles which both Laura and Heather have said. Jamie's admitted himself that his head tends to go down quite easily which is one of the reasons he picked Soares as a partner.
Very sad to wake up to that result. Was too tired to stay up for it. Did Jamie buckle under the stress or was Mr M a bit flat after the singles? It's strange given just how well they play in DC together.
It was a very close match. Our boys, although not at their absolute best, didn't play badly but the Brazilians played out of their skins, particularly Sa. Having narrowly lost the first set, Andy and Jamie were a break up in the second and looked to have it in the bag when Andy lost his serve from 40-0 up. The second set tie break swung one way and then the other. The Brazilians had match point after match point, Andy and Jamie had set point after set point - it could have gone either way. It was a great match for neutrals and probably deserve a third set. It just wasn't Andy and Jamie's night.

08-08-2016, 07:07
Not being able to sleep I got up in time to watch the 2nd set from 5-4 onwards. The difference in the match was undoubtedly Sa, he played the big points so well. J+A had chances to win the 2nd set though, Andy will definitely want back one forehand volley he played, but he played a couple of amazing shots to keep them in it aswell, one crosscourt drop volley was just brilliant.
themass15
08-08-2016, 07:37
Andre Sa has been round a long, long time. Always has been a good doubles player and the crowd would have been behind them as well.
Oh nooooooo! Just watched the recording! The Beeb went off on one with commentary elsewhere at one point and when they came back in the second set Andy was 40-0 up on his serve. The commentator said "the Murrays are in the ascendancy in the second set" and I thought :cauldron: but wasn't really worried.......but what happened? Andy lost serve - that was a shocking game from him whatever else he did well and I just hope he isn't so upset it affects his singles head. He won't like the fact that he was the one who was broken - Jamie held all the way through. Still, the Brazilians were good - they really bashed every volley and no messing. Sometimes I think Jamie overplays those little angled over the net feathery ones.
I can't imagine Mr M will let it effect his singles. When was his last doubles match? He is not the doubles specialist. I do wonder if he will want to play mixed now though. Anyone know the criteria for entry?
Anyone think he was simply still a bit rusty after not playing for a while? Getting through Troicki was always going to be fairly routine. Troicki went into that match probably half beaten in his head before it started.
Sad for Jamie.
I was really disappointed for Jamie after that but in a way relieved that Andy can now concentrate on the singles. The Brazilians always had the edge and if I were a neutral I'd have said the better team came through from an enthralling match. Having watched Andy's match v Troicki, the slow surface reminds me of Indian Wells (someone else has said that already) and Andy always has to work very hard to get any results there so the loss, however painful for him, may be a blessing in the long run as it was in London.

Watched the match and the Brazilians were outstanding, especially Sa. Jamie and Andy gave their all and terrific play from them both but the tie breaks were obviously key. The staunch defence in the second set saving all those match points was impressive but sadly, it was not to be. I feel sad for Jamie and both he and Andy looked devastated. So No. 1 & 2 seeds gone, Serena and Venus gone and Djokovic gone.....an interesting day in Olympic tennis.
Radio five live did the commentary on Jamie and Andy's match. I find it strange, they've only won one match at the Olympics and, yet, remain unbeaten in the Davis Cup.

They were up against Brazilians but it would be no different atmosphere to DC. They were absolutely dripping so it is obviously very humid. When are mixed dubs pairings announced?
