Svitolina took the first 6-4 but Heather has bounced back to take 2nd 6-3,keep going! she takes the 3rd on the breaker 7-4, well done!

Unfortunately Heather lost to the 7th seed Xinyu Wang 6-3,6-7,6-4 but certainly positives moving forward.

Good win for Watson today against German Tatjana Maria (ranked 66). I remember seeing her play against Harriet Dart (Wimbledon qualie perhaps ?) & she wound Dart up with pusher shots & Dart lost her composure. I've seen her since & she played completely differently, so it was a ploy. Can Watson keep it going.....

Heather now in semis after a tough 7-6,7-5 win over Viktorija Golubic- well done! will face Katie Boulter who get the better of Hariet Dart 6-3,7-5.
